What to Expect

• Enjoy possible wildlife sightings of grizzly and black bear, wolves, elk, moose, bison, bald eagles, and so much more<br> • Experience vast open western landscapes such including Hayden and Lamar Valley<br> • View Oxbow Bend, Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful Inn, and Mormon Row<br> • Walk the boardwalks at hydrothermal features such as Old Faithful Geyser, Fountain Paint-Pots and Mud-Pots, West Thumb, and Mammoth Hot Springs<br> • Tour will offer plenty of opportunities for easy walking and photography<br> • This small-group tour is limited to 10 people for a more intimate experience.

Itinerary

Day 1: Grand Teton National Park Dusk Adventure

Stop At: Mormon Row Historic District, 13040 Antelope Flats Rd, Moose, Grand Teton National Park, WY 83012-9707
Stop at this historic area to take a picture in front of the "most photographed barn in America!"
This is the the site of some of Jackson Hole's original Mormon homesteaders.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Grand Teton National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
Your adventure begins on an evening wildlife safari in Grand Teton National Park! This afternoon will be filled with wildlife viewing in the vast expanse of Grand Teton National Park. Animals commonly seen during this portion of the tour are bison, moose, bald eagles, pronghorn, coyotes, and mule deer. Keep your eyes open and cameras at the ready for possible bear sightings as well!

Stop At: T.A. Moulton Barn, Inner Park Rd Grand Teton National Park, Kelly, WY
The T. A. Moulton Barn is a historic barn within the Mormon Row Historic District in Teton County, Wyoming, United States. This barn is considered to be one of the most famous barns in the world!
*This stop will be made on Day 1, 2, or 4 of your tour*

Day 2: Grand Teton & Yellowstone Wildlife and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

Stop At: Oxbow Bend, US Route 26 2 mi east of Jackson Lake Junction, Moran, WY 83013
Oxbow Bend is one of the most photographed spots in Grand Teton National Park. Mount Moran, in the Grand Teton mountain range, is set in the background and the Snake River winds into a beautiful oxbow in the foreground. Mirror reflections of Mount Moran are sometimes possible when we arrive to this spot on non-windy mornings!

Stop At: Jackson Lake, Grand Teton National Park, WY
Jackson Lake is in Grand Teton National Park in northwestern Wyoming. This natural lake was enlarged by the construction of the Jackson Lake Dam, which was originally built in 1911, enlarged in 1916 and rebuilt by 1989

Stop At: West Thumb Geyser Basin, Yellowstone Lake, Yellowstone National Park, WY
The West Thumb Geyser Basin is the largest geyser basin on the shores of Yellowstone Lake.
We'll walk get out and stretch our legs along the boardwalk, taking in the various hydrothermal pools along this easy walking path!

Yellowstone Lake is the largest body of water in Yellowstone National Park. The lake is 7,732 feet above sea level and covers 136 square miles with 110 miles of shoreline.

Stop At: Hayden Valley, Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190
Hayden Valley is a large, sub-alpine valley in Yellowstone National Park straddling the Yellowstone River between Yellowstone Falls and Yellowstone Lake. The valley floor along the river is an ancient lake bed from a time when Yellowstone Lake was much larger.

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River expresses the park's complex geologic history in dramatic colors and shapes.
The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is the first large canyon on the Yellowstone River downstream from Yellowstone Falls in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
Here you will witness the amazing Lower Falls of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone!
We'll have time to take pictures at this iconic landmark!

Day 3: Buffalo Bill Cody Museum, Yellowstone Wildlife & Scenic Upper Loop Adventure

Stop At: Buffalo Bill Center of the West, 720 Sheridan Ave, Cody, WY 82414-3428
The Buffalo Bill Center of the West, formerly known as the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, is a complex of five museums and a research library featuring art and artifacts of the American West located in Cody, Wyoming.
*please note that guests traveling between April-May 9th will not be making this stop as this location will not be open for the summer season at that time*

Stop At: Chief Joseph Scenic Highway, WY
Guests will enjoy the amazing views on our leisurely drive on this unforgettable scenic by-way between Cody, Wyoming to our next destination, Cooke City, Montana.
*please note that guests traveling between April-May 9th will not be making this stop as this location will not be open for the summer season at that time*

Stop At: Lamar Valley, Yellowstone National Park, WY
Known as America's Serengeti, Lamar Valley is a world class wildlife viewing destination located in Yellowstone National Park.
*If there is enough time in the day today, your guide will take you into Lamar Valley for a wildlife safari this afternoon!

Day 4: Wildlife Viewing in the "American Serengeti", Mammoth Hot Springs, and Old Faithful Geyser

Stop At: Lamar Valley, Yellowstone National Park, WY
The Lamar Valley is often called "America’s Serengeti" for the amazing amount of North American wildlife you can spot within its radius. Keep your eyes ready to spot wolf packs, bison, elk, mule deer, grizzly and black bear, bighorn sheep, eagles, and moose!

See the most famous geyser in the world erupt!

Built in 1903-1904 with local logs and stone, the Old Faithful Inn is considered the largest log structure in the world. The towering lobby features a massive stone fireplace and a hand-crafted clock made of copper, wood and wrought iron serving as focal points.

Stop At: Mammoth Hot Springs, Grand Loop Road, Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190
Mammoth Hot Springs is a large complex of hot springs on a hill of travertine in Yellowstone National Park adjacent to Fort Yellowstone and the Mammoth Hot Springs Historic District. It was created over thousands of years as hot water from the spring cooled and deposited calcium carbonate.

Stop At: Roosevelt Arch, Yellowstone National Park, WY
The Roosevelt Arch is a rusticated triumphal arch at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park in Gardiner, Montana, United States. Constructed under the supervision of the US Army at Fort Yellowstone, its cornerstone was laid down by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1903.

Stop At: Snake River Overlook, Hwy 191/89, Moose, Grand Teton National Park, WY 83012
Snake River Overlook is one of the most photographed overlooks in Grand Teton National Park that was made famous by the world-renowned photographer, Ansel Adams.

Stop At: Fountain Paint Pot, Lower Geyser Basin, Yellowstone National Park, WY
The Fountain Paint Pot is a mud pot located in Lower Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. The Fountain Paint Pot is named for the reds, yellows and browns of the mud in this area. The differing colors are derived from oxidation states of the iron in the mud.
